The San Bernardino Superior Court provides a free online program to help you fill out forms for a Domestic Violence Restraining Order.

Note: This program does not help with forms for a Civil Harassment Restraining Order (used when there is no close family or partner relationship between the people involved).

How It Works

• You will answer questions about your situation. Make sure to answer all the questions because the program needs complete information to fill out the forms.
• The time it takes depends on your situation:
  • 15 minutes to 2 hours for most people.
  • Up to 2 hours if you have children, are asking for child or spousal support, and need to fill out the Income & Expense Declaration online.

Creating an Account

• You can create an account to save your answers and return later, but it is not required.
• If you don’t create an account, you will lose your work if the system times out after 2 hours.

What Happens Next

• Once you finish answering the questions, you can:
  1. Save your forms and send them to the courthouse online. This free service saves you a trip to the courthouse.
  2. Print your forms and take them to the courthouse yourself.
  3. Email your forms to someone else to print for you.
