Executive and Administrative Leadership

The Executive Team of the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino provides executive leadership and oversight for one of California’s largest and most diverse trial courts. Working collaboratively across Court divisions, the Executive Team carries out its responsibilities pursuant to the policy direction of the Presiding Judge and the Court Executive Officer and supports the fair, accessible, and efficient administration of justice for the residents of San Bernardino County.

Anabel Z. Romero

Court Executive Officer
Ms. Romero serves as the Court Executive Officer of San Bernardino Superior Court, the largest court system by geographic size in the lower forty-eight states. Ms. Romero provides executive support to the Presiding Judge and 104 judicial officers. She oversees over 1,100 employees and a $200M+ operating budget. She is the first Latina appointed to this leadership role.
