Do not use this website to post bail for a Court Trial or Trial by Written Declaration. If you plan to plead not guilty and want to post bail for your Court Trial or Trial by Written Declaration, you must mail or visit the appropriate courthouse to post your bail. If you use this website to make a payment, you are paying the fine and closing your case. If your case involves a traffic citation, a conviction will be reported to the DMV.
Payment Methods
If your ticket does not require a mandatory appearance, you can pay using cash, checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and debit cards.
To Pay In Person
You can pay at any San Bernardino Superior Courthouse. You may also use the express drop box for payments and correspondence located in or near the public lobby, open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Do not place duplicate payments or cash in the drop box. Allow 2-3 days for processing. This processing time will not make a timely payment late.

Visit MyCitations at https://mycitations.courts.ca.gov.
Proof of Corrections
Correctable violations, also called "fix-it tickets," may be dismissed if eligible. You must pay a $25 dismissal fee for each violation and provide proof of correction.
- For registration, insurance, or driver’s license violations, court staff or the DMV can verify and sign off on the correction.
- For other correctable violations, a law enforcement officer must inspect your vehicle and sign the back of your citation.
Submit the signed citation or proof of correction with the fees by mail or in person at the clerk’s office before the appearance date listed on your citation.
If You Want to Appear in Court
To plead not guilty and request a court trial, you must reserve an arraignment hearing (Contest Your Traffic Ticket - Plead Not Guilty). During the hearing, you will appear before a judge, enter a not guilty plea, and request a court trial. You will then return for the scheduled trial.
To reserve an arraignment hearing, speak with a clerk at any San Bernardino Superior courthouse or call the clerk’s office using the number on your citation or reminder notice.
Failure to Pay
If you do not respond to your ticket by the due date, a $100 civil assessment penalty may be added to the original amount, and your case may be referred to a collection agency under Penal Code 1214.1. A warrant for your arrest may also be issued.
If your account is sent to a collection agency, you may face wage garnishments or bank levies through the Franchise Tax Board’s court-ordered debt collection program.
If you have a financial hardship and cannot pay the full amount, you can request the court to review your ability to pay. You must appear before the court to make this request.
