Administrative Records Request

Request Information

If you want information about a case or documents related to a court proceeding, you should contact the court district where the case was filed or heard. Do not use this form or email address to request case records.

Starting January 1, 2010, California Rules of Court, rule 10.500 outlines rules for public access to judicial administrative records kept by state trial courts.

The court will provide identifiable judicial administrative records if requested, unless the records are exempt from disclosure under rule 10.500. Fees may apply under parts (e)(4) and (i)(2) of rule 10.500.

Adjudicative records cannot be requested through judicial administrative record requests. If you need case information or access to documents prepared for, filed, or used in a court proceeding, you must contact the court district where the case was filed or heard.

You can send requests for judicial administrative records from the San Bernardino Superior Court to:

Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino
Court Executive Office – Public Records Request

247 West Third Street, 11th Floor
San Bernardino, CA 92415
E-mail: prr@sb-court.org

Requests can be submitted by completing the Request for Judicial Administrative Records Form and sending it by email or U.S. Mail.

The Court Executive Office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on court holidays.
