San Bernardino Superior Court Launches Electronic Filing For Select Appeals Documents

SAN BERNARDINO, CA— Beginning April 24, 2026, the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino, will begin accepting select Appeals documents online through eAppeals, the Court’s electronic filing system for appellate matters.

This new service allows court users to submit certain Appeals documents electronically, saving time and travel by providing the convenience of remote filing from any location without the need to visit a courthouse. There is no charge to use eAppeals.

What It Means for Court Users

  • You may file certain documents online, anytime.
  • Required Appeals filing fees, when applicable, may be paid online through eAppeals.

Documents That Can Be Filed Through eAppeals

The following documents are eligible for electronic filing:

  • Notices
  • Juvenile Appeals case-type documents
  • Extensions
  • Fee waivers
  • Motions
  • Orders
  • Petitions
  • Proofs of Service

What You Need to Know Before Filing

  • Documents must be submitted in PDF format.
  • Files must meet the portal’s size and formatting requirements.
  • eAppeals is free to use, but statutory filing fees still apply where applicable.
