SBSC Expands Civil Capacity with the Addition Of a Fourth Civil Courtroom at Rancho Cucamonga District

Rancho Cucamonga, CA—The San Bernardino Superior Court (SBSC) is pleased to announce the opening of a fourth civil courtroom at the Rancho Cucamonga Courthouse on May 26, 2026, Courtroom R1.

Aligned with the court's 2024–2028 Strategic Plan, the addition of a fourth courtroom reinforces the court's commitment to enhancing service delivery and expanding access to justice. This expansion is expected to reduce case delays and support the timely resolution of civil matters for the residents of San Bernardino County.

"I am proud to see the continued expansion of services at our Rancho Cucamonga District as we respond to the growing needs of our community," said Presiding Judge Rod Cortez.

"The opening of a fourth civil courtroom strengthens our ability to continue to provide responsive and efficient service to court users," said Court Executive Officer Anabel Z. Romero.
