San Bernardino Superior Court To Discontinue FileSubmit In Family Law Cases

Public Notice

Release Date: July 7, 2026

SAN BERNARDINO, CA The San Bernardino Superior Court will discontinue the use of FileSubmit for Family Law cases beginning Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 4:00 pm.

As the court continues to transition to eFile, FileSubmit will no longer be available for filings or payments associated with Family Law cases. These case types are supported via eFile, which provides a more comprehensive, standardized electronic filing experience.

IMPACT ON COURT USERS

FileSubmit was originally implemented as a secure option to allow court users to submit documents and payments electronically, replacing fax filing and ensuring compliance with credit card security requirements. As eFile functionality has expanded, the need for FileSubmit in Family Law cases has been eliminated.

Effective August 6, 2026, filings and payments for Family Law cases must be submitted through eFile or other approved filing methods such as in person, via drop box, or by mail.

This change impacts litigants and attorneys who currently use FileSubmit for Family Law cases.

For more information on eFile and alternative filing options, please visit the court’s website, How Can I File section: Superior Court of California | County of San Bernardino
