Probate Mandatory Settlement Conference Week Begins March 9, 2026

SAN BERNARDINO, CA— The San Bernardino Superior Court (SBSC) is pleased to announce the return of Probate Mandatory Settlement Conference Week between March 9-12, 2026, at the Fontana Courthouse.

Probate Mandatory Settlement Conference Week seeks to assist litigants with resolving their cases before trial. In partnership with volunteer attorneys serving as mediators, SBSC will set settlement conferences during this week-long event. Settlement conferences are an excellent alternative to trial and allow all parties to reach a mutually beneficial resolution in a timely manner.

Cases are selected by the Judicial Officer presiding over the matter. Requests to participate should be directed to the Judicial Officer assigned to the case. Should your case be selected to participate, the following requirements must be met:

  • Briefs must be submitted five (5) court days prior to each scheduled settlement conference and must be filed in the department
  • All counsel, parties and other persons with settlement authority must be present.
