Assembly Bill 1186: Restitution Fees
SAN BERNARDINO, CA — Pursuant to Assembly Bill 1186, legislation vacates restitution fine debt older than 10 years, prohibits the assessment of youth restitution fines, and requires courts to assign several liability for restitution orders among juvenile co-offenders rather than holding them jointly and severally liable.
