SAN BERNARDINO, CA– Pursuant to the Judicial Council of California’s Discharge of Accountability guidelines, the court or county may perform collection activities related to the discharge of debt deemed uncollectible. Such activities may include researching and identifying uncollectible debt, preparing reports, and the application and approval process as defined in Government Code sections 25257-25259.95.
The attached signed order for the request of discharge by the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino, having read and considered the information provided, finds that the request for discharge is justified and relieves the applicant from any further responsibility for collecting the discharged debt. This discharge does not constitute a release of any person from liability for payment of any amount owed.
The attached Superior Court of San Bernardino County full inventory of delinquent debt proposed to be discharged from accountability (197 pages) will be posted to the court’s website from April 6, 2026, until April 24, 2026, pursuant to Government Code 25259.9.
