eAppeals FAQ
eAppeals can be used to file appeal documents for Extensions, Fee waivers, Motions, Notice of Appeals, Notice of Designation, Proofs of Service, Juvenile Writs and Juvenile Appeals.
Fees owed to the Superior Court can be paid by credit card through the eAppeals online portal when you submit your documents. After the court reviews your filing and determines the amount due, the fees will be charged to the credit card you provided. A receipt showing the documents filed and all fees charged will be emailed to the address on file.
Please Note: Filing fees payable to the District Court of Appeal cannot be paid through eAppeals.
The size limit will be 50 mb per document and up to 15 documents per submission. The court recommends documents be at 300 dpi and that color photos or documents are only included when necessary.
Yes, documents can still be filed in person at the Appeals Division or at the appropriate courthouse.
eAppeals is not the same as eFiling. It is an electronic way to submit documents to the court. After submission, all documents are reviewed and processed by court staff before they are entered into the court’s case management system.
Setting up an account for eAppeals is not available at this time. Court users will need to add their personal and credit card information for each transaction.
eAppeals will accept PDF files that are not text searchable and book marked.
