Implementation of the CARE Act
On September 14, 2022, Governor Newsom signed SB-1338 enacting the Community Assistance, Recovery and Empowerment Act (CARE Act).
Commencing December 2, 2024, the San Bernardino County Superior Court will begin accepting Petitions to Commence CARE Act proceedings. Petitions may be filed at the Fontana Court District located at 17780 Arrow Boulevard, Fontana, CA 92335.
